UFC 327 in Miami will go down not only as one of the best cards of the year, but potentially one of the greatest cards of all time. Without further ado, let's analyze the card.

In the main event, Carlos Ulberg defeated former champion Jiří Procházka by knockout in round one.

As many fans expected, the fight was fireworks from the beginning.

Procházka utilized his signature pressure-oriented style, on the front foot pressing Ulberg with strikes from all angles.

However, within minutes, Ulberg's ACL blew out, and Procházka sensed this.

Just as the fight looked to be over, Procházka's confidence cost him, and Ulberg countered him with a check left hook, sending the former champion to the canvas.

Ulberg has always been one of the best technical counter-strikers in the game, and these skills were what delivered him his first UFC championship.

The Light-Heavyweight division has officially entered a new era, and Carlos Ulberg now holds the crown.

Paulo Costa def. Azamat Murzakonov

In the co-main event, Paulo Costa turned back the clock with a vintage performance.

After recent struggles at Middleweight, Costa was looking to recapture the magic at 205 pounds, and with tonight's performance, Costa is back in title contention.

Heading into the contest as an underdog against the undefeated Murzakonov, this was Costa's last chance at relevance.

He was able to damage Murzakonov with brutal headkicks, with a headkick in the third round, finishing the fight. Costa was able to counter Murzakonov's forward pressure with elite counterstriking, and in the third round, he found the fight-ending shot.

Paulo Costa being a title contender in 2026 was not on most fans' bingo cards, but after tonight's performance, there are not many contenders who are more deserving.

Wow. Just wow.

This was, without a doubt, one of the greatest fights in UFC history.

Many fans were tired of Josh Hokit's character, which he was playing, with pre-fight antics that caused viral moments, with tons of scrutiny.

But this is exactly what the UFC division has been looking for. A superstar.

This fight was pure fireworks. The two fighters stood and traded for fifteen minutes straight, and fans could not believe they were still standing at the final bell.

This is one of those fights that is only done justice by watching it; it's almost unexplainable.

But now we have a new Heavyweight star, in a time where the division desperately needs it.

Is Hokit a championship-caliber fighter? Maybe not. But can he be the face of the division? Absolutely

Rest Of The Card

The rest of the card was filled with fantastic fights. Aaron Pico returned to form following his disappointing UFC debut, dominating Patrício Pitbull by decision. And in his retirement fight, UFC legend Cub Swanson went out with a fight most athletes dream about, dominating Nate Landwehr to a first-round knockout.

UFC 327 reminded UFC fans around the world why mixed martial arts is the greatest sport on the planet, and with UFC 328 next month, fans have lots to look forward to.
